Common questions
Before you book
- How do I reserve a session?
- Choose a package, submit your session details through the booking form, sign the agreement, and pay the retainer. Your date is held only once both the signature and the retainer are complete.
- How much is the retainer?
- The retainer is 40% of your package total and is nonrefundable. It is applied to your balance.
- When is the remaining balance due?
- The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session start time.
- How quickly will I receive my photographs?
- Portrait sessions are delivered within 7 days. Event coverage is delivered within 10 days. A 48-hour rush option is available for $75.
- How many images will I receive?
- The edited image count is listed in each package. Events receive approximately 40–60 final images per hour of coverage.
- Do you provide RAW or unedited files?
- No. Only edited images are delivered, since editing is part of the finished work.
- Can you help me pose?
- Yes. You do not need experience in front of a camera — you will be guided through posing, movement, and expression throughout.
- What should I wear?
- Solid colors and fabrics that hold their shape photograph best. A preparation guide with outfit suggestions is sent after booking.
- What happens if it rains?
- Outdoor sessions include one weather reschedule at no charge. You will be contacted as early as possible if conditions are unsafe or unworkable.
- Can I bring a friend or family member?
- Yes. One or two supportive people are welcome. For family combinations, please note the number of participants when booking.
- Can I change locations?
- Location changes are possible when requested in advance and subject to travel and availability. Additional locations are $50.
- Do you photograph weddings?
- No. Weddings are not currently offered. Engagement sessions and small pre-wedding celebrations such as bridal showers can be accommodated.
- Do you photograph large events?
- Coverage is limited to intimate events of roughly 75 guests and up to four hours. Larger requests are reviewed manually and may be declined.
- Are travel charges required?
- Sessions inside the listed service area include travel. Locations outside that area are quoted individually.
- Can I purchase more images?
- Yes. Five additional edited photographs are $50, and a full usable gallery upgrade is $100.
- May you post my photos online?
- Only with your separate written consent. You may decline portfolio use without affecting your session or pricing.
- Who owns the copyright?
- The photographer retains copyright. Your package includes personal use and personal printing rights.
- How long does my gallery remain available?
- Galleries remain active for 30 days. Please download and back up your images before the gallery expires.
- What happens if I arrive late?
- There is a 15-minute grace period. Sessions end at the scheduled time, so late arrival reduces available shooting time.
- Do prices include tax?
- No. Listed prices exclude applicable Pennsylvania sales tax, which is added at checkout.
