Planning notes
What to expect in this area
- Walking: expect 10–15 minutes of walking between the strongest backdrops. Comfortable shoes help; heels can go on for the photograph itself.
- Crowds: commencement weekend is busy. Early morning gives you empty walkways; late afternoon gives you better light.
- Family: parents and siblings are easy to include here — there is shade and seating nearby for people waiting their turn.
- Access: sessions stay on public exterior paths. Interior spaces, libraries and event venues may require university permission that you would need to arrange.
